In a world of technology everyone wants a deal, so do I, but the best deal isn’t always the cheapest deal.
I don’t get it…
The majority of people upgrade their iPhone every year. The average cost of the brand new phone is usually around $1300, which means if you’re a loyal user of 10 years you have spent around $13,000.
BUT…
When it comes to the family room TV that everyone uses people faint when someone tells them $2000 for a good one
People pay $1200/ year for internet that barely works but scream when you say $1800 for a system that gives you amazing WiFi throughout the home.
I have news for you if you’re building a home for $2 million and you haven’t allocated 2 – 5% for technology you just spent $2 million to build this..
I have seen TVs that are 8-10 years old look better than TVs that are brand new, the difference in price? About $500. Save $500 off the hop but buy a TV every 2-3 years…or invest the $500 and not have to worry about quality?
There are two types of buyers in the world.
The Proactive Buyer – An educated buyer who knows where to be economical and where not to. Someone who prefers a good quality product and knows that quality breeds longevity.
The Myopic Buyer – A short sighted shopper who thinks that the only thing in life is a cheap deal. Usually overspends on unwise purchases while only looking for the cheapest deal on important products.
Let me ask you a question?
Who do you think spends more (on similar products) over time?
Which of these 2 types of shoppers has more buyers remorse?
Who is more likely to contract the Bubonic plague and be solely responsible for a global pandemic?
If you answered “The Myopic Buyer” to all of these questions… CONGRATULATIONS! Chances are you don’t have the plague! (unless your best friend or lover is the cheap one)
Why throw your money away on cheap equipment for the home you work so hard for?

NO…Nobody has.

Your $399 Insignia TV that you put on the patio and cant figure out which team is winning.

DO NOT cheap out on the electronics that run your life, are for enjoyment, keep you home safe and comfortable.
