These days media is so accessible and your average movie theatre is old, expensive and disgusting.
Do we leave behind the traditional cinema experience? Or evolve it and simply bring it home with us?
MOVIE THEATRES: PROS & CONS
PRO: It’s a REALLY Big Screen
Lets face it it is hard to beat the ultra big screen. It really immerses you in the action , surrounds you with visuals, and gives us the clarity we look for in picture quality today.
CON: The Bubonic Plague
Joking you are statistically unlikely to contract the black death at a movie theatre. There is however, a myriad of other diseases and viruses that people bring in and leave behind . Let’s put it this way DO NOT bring a black light to a movie theatre!
PRO: Here Comes The Boom!
Movie theatre sound systems are among the best in the world. A great, true surround sound makes you part of the story, makes you feel like you are there!
CON: It’s Not Just The Germs!
Movie theatres are disgusting places which are rarely cleaned. An inside source told me they are only deep cleaned once a month!
CON: Get Ready to SPEND SPEND SPEND!
$150 bucks for dirty seats, bad food, and a back ache….really? This is just not acceptable.
HOME THEATRES: PROS & CONS
PRO: It’s Badass!
Let’s face it, if you have a 110 inch screen with a 4k projector and an epic sound system you are the envy of all of your friends.
CON: Wait…. I Have to Wait?
The #1 Downfall of having the cinema come to you is having to wait for release before watching the newest hit blockbuster.
PRO: Go as Big as You Want ( Room Size Permitting)
The Beautiful thing about tech these days is you can get technology that’s as good or better as its commercial counterpart. The new Sony projectors use virtually the same parts as those in the real movie theatres.
CON: Its Not Technically a ‘Date Night’
If you’re looking for the going out ‘date night’ experience don’t order a pizza and take your partner downstairs. Its a great night not a date night. Get off your lazy a** put on some decent clothes and take her for a night on the town once and a while!
PRO: Quality Family Time
The movie theatre doesn’t present a lot of chance for quality family time. At home you can pause when you need, have fun, laugh, or play games. All while enjoying your AuxCity Home Theatre System™
PRO: You’re Already Home!
Let’s be honest if you can get the same experience or better and do it from the comfort of your own home, obviously you would want that right?
